[Baltimore Sun] Ravens QB Lamar Jackson absent from practice Monday
Lamar Jackson was absent from Ravens practice Monday afternoon, their first since Thursday night’s season-opening loss to the Chiefs in Kansas City.
Whether the quarterback is injured or perhaps sick, as he was at the start of training camp, is unknown. Coach John Harbaugh is scheduled to speak to the media around 3 p.m. following practice.
Jackson was present at Baltimore’s picture day in Owings Mills earlier in the day, however, according to a social media post from the team.
In the Ravens’ 27-20 loss to Kansas City, Jackson completed 26 of 41 passes for 271 yards and a touchdown and led the team in rushing with 122 yards on 16 carries. He was also strip-sacked and took several hits, though he did not appear to be injured while speaking to reporters following the game.
Meanwhile, others who were not at the portion of practice open to the media included cornerback Nate Wiggins, receiver/returner Deonte Harty, outside linebacker Adisa Isaac (hamstring) and outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy (eye).
